Back to Life, Back to Reality....

Home again, home again, jiggity jig.

We are finally back in San Diego, and this time for good. Whew. I feel like I have been living out of a suitcase all summer...and I pretty much have.

Nathan and I spent the last two weeks in Paso with my family. The first week Cameron was in Costa Rica doing a study abroad (yyyyyaaaaa, I am jealous, so don't ask). The second week Cameron was in San Diego starting school and Nathan and I stayed in Paso. It was so hard to be away from Cameron for two whole weeks, but since Cameron would be coming up to Paso just four days after getting back from Costa Rica we decided to not subject Nathan to more 6 hour car rides than absolutely necessary.

Somehow even though we did lots of fun things during those two weeks I have only ONE picture:

Nathans new thing is carrying things around in his mouth like a puppy
Daddy brought Nathan home a Minion beanie from Costa Rica. Isn't he the absolute cutest thing you've ever seen?!

Cameron's brother Austin was blessing his baby in Morro Bay on Sunday so we got together for a beach day on Friday and finally got to meet sweet baby Sadie.

When we are at the beach I have to just let go of all of my mom OCD-ness and let Nathan do his thing. That sand and seaweed is GOING TO GO IN HIS MOUTH. And there's nothing I can do about it.

But I draw the line at feathers. Barf.

Jen and Sadie-oh what a sweet girl

Gianna and Grandma Kaye
Just try and not melt into a puddle when you see her face...

That look right there is the face that makes being a mom of a newborn worth it. That face where they look at you like, "mom, you are so amazing. I love you more than anyone in the world." So sweet.

Blessing sweet Sadie

Sadie was given a lovely blessing to be a good example to others. I love my sweet nieces!! They make me excited for pink, glitter, and dresses. But for now I am oh so happy with my crazy-azy boy :)

We love our cousin Gianna!

We have had such a crazy busy summer and to be perfectly honest...I am a little sad to see it end. Cameron had the summer off of school so he was only working not juggling working, school, homework, and church callings so we saw a lot more of him than normal, which was so nice. Cameron has started school last week and I will start "working" (babysitting) tomorrow. So, back to life, back to reality....

Summer, I will stick your memories in my pocket and take them out every now and again when I need warm memories to get me through.
